The handlebar bag by Green Guru Gear is an eco-friendly glove compartment for cruiser, commuter, road, and cyclocross bikes. It easily installs on bikes with stems that are free of cables (e.g., cruiser, commuter, road, cyclocross) but mountain bikes have shorter handlebars and a cluster of cables near the stem so the handlebar bag may sit on top of cables instead of hanging straight down. It is ideal for carrying accessories, bike tools, gloves, extra clothes, lunch, snacks, 12 ounce cans, and much more. There is foam in the walls of the bag that help keep beverages cold and food warm so it can be used as an on-the-go lunch box / cooler. Notably, it is made from materials that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. The waterproof exterior is used bicycled tubes that have been cleaned and sewn together. The interior of the bag is lined with upcycled mylar and recycled PETE binding; a fabric made from recycled plastic bottles.
